I'm planning to defrost the freezer soon so as to prepare it for the upcoming huge strawberry season. I'm therefore trying to use all kinds of stuff to make space. There were some leftover puff pastry from Christmas time - I rolled the plates through the pasta machine, then spread some butter on them, sprinkled olive slices and some chopped smoked meat on them and covered it all with cheese slices. Then I rolled them and cut them into slices. Yummy. Today I bought some more puff pastry, now this is the way you get things done as planned.

The European football championship started today so I started crocheting pouches which is easy to do while watching games, starting from the zipper which appeals to my ready-at-once track mind. I also still cherish the dream of sewing all kinds of neat pouches from the African fabrics I've got but I have serious problems with the sewing machine, we don't actually get along that well.
