Yks kikhernepaketti mei kaupas maksaa 1,75 euroo - meil ei oo etnisii kauppoi lähelkää, nii jot oon ostelt niitä. Netist voip löytyy halvemmalkii kyl. Pistin koko paketi likkoomaa eilisiltan ja siit tul aika monta ruokaa. Lisäks tein tahinii, sitä männöö tuoho vasemmas reunas olevaa hummuksee, sit tein myös pestoo mihi ei kyl mänt kikherneitä. Yläreunas on falafelit, täs kuvas viel raakoi.
One packet of chickpeas costs 1,75 euros in our not-so-ethnic store. I soaked the whole lot overnight and made several different dishes today: hummus (with tahini, also in the picture) and falafels which in this picture are still raw. I also made some pesto (without chickpeas!) as my basil is seriously suffering from lack of light. Can't blame it, so do I.
Jokkuu mielehäiriö iski nii jot unohin falafeleist chilin, jäivät sit aika vaaleiks, mut ei se hirveest makkuu haitant. Lisäks on kikhernesalaatti Jamie Oliveri reseptil, sitä tien usiast, on nii hyyvvää ja täyttävää, ja sit tein viel kuuve muna munakkaa kyytipojaks. Tupailole paistoin bratwurstii.
I had a malfunction moment and forgot to add chili to the falafels so they're quite blonde. Fortunately I didn't forget the other spices so the taste is good. I also made the same old chickpea salad using Jamie Oliver's recipe, it is one of my absolute favourites, and an omelette with 6 eggs.
Ei tää täskää valos mitekää loistele, mut vähä pääsöö metalli makkuu paremmi. Ei kai se valo riitä nii ko ker on marraskuu. MIE EN TYKKÄÄ MARRASKUUST, silt varalt jos se on viel jollekii epäselvää. Mut, viije viiko pääst on talvipäiväseisaus ja kääntyy ehkees suunta. Sitä vuotelleis.
A little bit better impression of the metallic shimmer here, though the light still wasn't bright enough. Well duh, it's November. I HATE NOVEMBER, if I haven't mentioned that before. I'm just reminding myself the winter solstice is mere 5 weeks away and then, at least, the direction is turned to the brighter side.
