I really don't have that much to do you know (/sarcasm) so I started crocheting a skull scarf. I really need to purchase a decent crochet hook with a sturdy handle, the metal slim one I'm using makes my fingers ache. Also, a softer yarn would be nice for this pattern, too. One day at the store I was looking at the autumn edition of Novita's knitting pattern magazine, and decided I won't buy it - the magazine itself is not that expensive, but add a pattern or two and the yarn for those, that's what ruins a household, I'll tell ya. So then I remembered Ravelry exists and finally logged in to see all the free patterns there. Problem solved! I will first knit the 5 kilos I have in my stash (note to self: an inventory needs to be done) before buying any new yarn.

Also, Finland has been in a frenzy lately concerning refugees. Those who know me, know where I stand. I will post about this more later, but not today (my kidney beans are boiling over and I need to go check them). Related to yarn inventory though, I'm going to knit a pair or two or more of woollen socks to the refugees. I have the yarn, I have the skill, so there.
